tV, Radio, direct mail

As a freelance writer, I created many product campaigns for TwinStar Credit Union. Media ranged from traditional TV broadcast to Pandora radio spots to in-store posters to direct mail and billing inserts. What was once a small credit union now has more than 100,000 members and is the ninth largest in Washington State. These campaigns, no doubt, played a role in TwinStar's success.

The business objective for this spot was to attract customers to TwinStar’s Accelerator Checking Account, which pays 3.5% APY. The strategy: earning interest on checking makes sense. TwinStar saw their membership increase following the airing of this spot and the rest of the campaign.

Direct Mail, TwinStar Credit Union

The company’s objective was to get people to use TwinStar CU for a boat or RV loan. The strategy we employed was this: An RV (or boat) connects you to the world outside.

The number of loans increased significantly as a result of the work.

Radio, TwinStar Credit Union

I helped promote a range of TwinStar CU products via radio and streaming. Telling a story through a radio spot is a writer’s dream. With each project, the business objective and marketing strategy lead the way to smart scripts that are compelling, unexpected, and relevant.
